Our History
Construction and the first races were held in 1966 . Hume Cook decided he wanted a place for his friends to settle who was REALLY faster. The first ever feature race was won by Bob Moore in the #55 and Bob, a racing legend, still races today! in 2026, the speedway was recognized by the Tri Peaks Tourism Council as a top tourism destination in the Arkansas River Valley.

Centerville Super Speedway is built on hard work, horsepower, and hometown pride.
We’re here to bring racing back to the way it’s supposed to be—affordable, family-friendly, and full of grit.
From the kids in the grandstands to the drivers on the track, this place is about community, tradition, and giving folks something to look forward to on a Saturday night.
Our Family
For over 60 years, these gates have opened for more than just race cars - they’ve opened for generations. This is where boys became men, where girls grew up tough, and where families were built one Saturday night at a time.
It’s where handshakes turned into lifelong friendships… and where more than a few couples met, fell in love, and built a life together with the sound of race cars in the background. Kids who once ran around barefoot in the pits grew up, strapped into cars of their own, and now stand back watching their sons and daughters do the very same thing.
You can’t fake that. You can’t build that overnight. That’s history. That’s tradition. That’s family. And when you come through these gates, you’re part of it now.
